Hours were spent on calls to my mum to get the instructions right, more time was spent on sourcing the best ingredients miles away from #Mumbai and then it took some more hours of slow roasting, careful temperature checking and occasionally chasing away Bruno🐶 who couldn't resist the aroma of #amulghee which eventually resulted in me being successful in making this lovely (a little out of shape) Ladoo ...which will be one of the few sweets I'll be making this #Diwali It is always difficult to be far away from home on a festive occasion..so these sweets are a small effort to make up for the moments missed out and to bring in the festival of lights in our little space❤ watch out this space for more such festive stories! Brunch scenes today at @georgesofoakpark We have been visiting them regularly since early this year and everything we try impresses us! I tried this lovely Greek styled broiled chicken served with tangy greek rice, pita, potatoes and a side of lentil soup!
